RubyConf sold out!

Posted by josh August 03, 2006 @ 01:37 AM

Registration for RubyConf 2006 is closed. It took only about four hours to fill 200-some seats. Is that some kind of record?

If you missed out, consider holding your own. Ruby Central is offering grants to help fund regional events.

The Michigan Ruby Users Group is hosting RubyConf*MI on August 26 in Grand Rapids Michigan. It will be a one day, single-track conference featuring well-known speakers David A. Black and Pat Eyler.

    Check it out at http://rubyconfmi.org

Yeah, I’m sitting on the waiting list. I really hope a bunch of prior engagements come up for some of the attendees. :)

All these ruby conferences are getting sold out… Could someone do some market research and figure out a better figure of how many people would be willing to attend bfore scheduling it? Come on, this is just silly.

Poor me was on vacation last week and missed the brief window for tickets. And this was the closest conference that I’ve ever had a chance to go to. :(

    +1 for DGM
